Frequently asked questions
You will take customer service calls for well-known fortune 500 companies. These calls include billing questions, technical assistance, account maintenance, sales, and data entry.
You will need:
• A Quiet Work Area
• A Computer (laptop is acceptable, must be hard-wired, no Wi-Fi permitted)
• High-Speed Internet
• USB Headset
Upon registration, there is a background check that will need to be completed by a third-party vendor. This is completed online for $30.
***You will be handling sensitive data and customer information. This background check is necessary for clients to know that you are trustworthy and that their customer’s information will be secure.
Arise provides comprehensive training. These classes last anywhere from 5 days to 30 days. You will learn everything that you need to know about servicing the client of your choice. The certification classes are FREE. We will help you make the best decision based on your particular situation but the choice is totally yours.
All classes are taken online. You will need a computer, hard-wired high-speed internet (not wifi), and a usb headset for training. Classes are Monday-Friday, and they are generally 2-4 hours each day depended on the client that you choose. You will be able to choose, based upon the client, if you’d like mornings, afternoon, or evenings.
Classes are between 5 days and 30 days based on the client. After you have successfully completed certification, you can begin working and getting paid. Like any training, there is going to be a lot of information and this time goes quickly, trust me! Some classes even have an 'earn while you learn phase'. This means that you'll start taking calls (and earning revenue) after about 2 weeks of class starting. All of this will be listed in the opportunity announcement (OA).
Because you are an Independent Contractor and not an employee, you are responsible for your own taxes. No taxes will be deducted from your earnings. We will provide you with a 1099-MISC at the end of every year.
